The talk session started with an introduction on Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and its applications. Covered in detail about the microsystems where electrical and mechanical components co-exist, most commonly on a single silicon die. Nano electronics and its applications were covered as the next part of the session which emphasized on the study of materials and techniques at nanoscale level. The entire talk session focused on the relevance of these technologies in various application domains such as aerospace, biomedical, automotive and industrial.
